In Genesis 18:16 to 19:1-29 you can read for yourself of the true account of God’s wrath being kindled against a vile and wicked nation some 3900 years ago which brought about it’s total and complete destruction by fire and brimstone turning it all to ash.  Many in our modern times view this as more of a story than an actual place, however our pictures of the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are evidence to these cities existing today.  This is a reminder to all who continue in their sins and don’t repent of their wickedness.  In our modern world, many use the word “wicked” when referring to something that is cool with their peers as being wicked but God has a different view on this word.

The ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah found in modern day Israel close to the western shores of the dead sea, we gratefully acknowledge the sterling research of the Australian archaeologist  Dr Jonathan Gray with conclusive scientific evidence of the remains of the five cities that the bible account describes in Genesis 18:16 to 19:29, having visited this region for ourselves the evidence presents a powerful picture of the fulfilled prophetic word of God.

The Apostle Paul told the people in Lystra;

You should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them, who in bygone generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless he did not leave himself without witness, in that he did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness (Acts 14:15-17).
